Calistoga Speedway is one of California's most historic dirt tracks. Located at the Calistoga Fairgrounds, the scenic half-mile oval began as a horse-racing track before automobile racing was introduced in 1937. Today, Calistoga Speedway remains an important part of Calistoga's cultural and recreational history. It represents nearly nine decades of racing, community involvement and family traditions and serves as a distinctive centerpiece of the Calistoga Fairgrounds.
