City of Calistoga Fairgrounds Community Survey
As part of the City’s ongoing community engagement and planning for the Calistoga Fairgrounds, the City Council approved a statistically valid community survey on January 14, 2025. The survey is designed to gather resident input that will help shape policy, guide funding priorities, and support long-term planning for the Fairgrounds property.

Q: I got a telephone call, email, text, or postcard about a survey. Is it real?
A: Yes. The City is conducting a community survey, and we encourage you to participate.
Q: I heard there is a City survey going on, but I didn’t get one. Can I participate?
A: The survey is being conducted with a random sample of residents, so not everyone will be contacted. However, your input is always welcome, and there will be future opportunities to share your opinions.
Q: How did you get my name and contact information?
A: The research company conducting the survey on behalf of the City randomly selected residential addresses. They then used publicly and commercially available databases to match contact information to those addresses.
Q: The telephone interviewer mispronounced something in the survey.
A: Thank you for letting us know. While interviewers receive training on pronunciations, we will share this feedback with the survey team to ensure corrections and retraining take place.
