Robert Louis Stevenson Public Art Project Dedication — Saturday, November 7, 2026
After more than seven years of community effort, the Robert Louis Stevenson Public Art Project will celebrate its public dedication on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the historic Calistoga Depot.
Created by sculptor Garr Ugalde, the life-size bronze installation depicts Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, Fanny Osbourne Stevenson, and their dog Chuchu. The figures are arranged around a Victorian-style bench designed so visitors can sit alongside them.
The public is welcome to attend the dedication and celebrate this new addition to Calistoga’s cultural landscape.
