A 15-year resident of Calistoga, Councilmember Lisa Gift is dedicated to addressing housing, supporting small businesses, enhancing tourism, and advocating for mental health resources in the community. Lisa is deeply committed to building a strong, inclusive community where all individuals feel supported. She believes that diversity and inclusion are foundational elements of a thriving society. With 15 years of marketing experience in the wine industry, Lisa understands the vital role that tourism plays in the local economy. She serves on the Tourism Improvement District (TID) Board, where she works to support and strengthen Calistoga’s tourism sector. Lisa also played a key role in updating the Housing Element of the General Plan with the implementation of the Housing Advisory Committee, increasing affordability thresholds, and streamlining development processes to support sustainable growth. She also serves on the Napa County Suicide Prevention Council, where she works to reduce stigma, increase access to resources, and foster a more compassionate approach to mental health.
