Accessory Dwelling Units

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) are small homes or apartments located on the same lot as a larger, primary home. Each ADU includes its own kitchen, bathroom, and living space, offering flexible options for family housing, rental income, or affordable housing. The City of Calistoga has streamlined the permit process with faster approvals, reduced fees, and flexible design standards, and continues to update its approach to stay consistent with State law.
