Chiefs of the Department

The City of Calistoga was incorporated January 6, 1886. At that time the Chief of Police had the actual title of Marshall and was an elected position. In 1912 the State of California mandated that the position of Marshall be an appointed position. Later the title changed from Marshall to Chief of Police.
